Job Description The Human Resources Director partners with the Ormco Commercial, Operations & Corporate functions within North America to support Ormco’s continuing growth. The successful candidate will enjoy all aspects of HR including both strategic and tactical. This includes partnering with the senior leadership team on strategic talent initiatives, talent management, talent attraction and development, performance management, strategic projects, process improvement and employee relations; all in alignment with the driving Enista Core Values and accelerating company growth. This position reports directly to the Global Vice President of Human Resources for Ormco.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to shape and execute business strategy through the identification, prioritization, and development of organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.

Lead people engagement and culture initiatives, serving as a steward of Ormco’s values while advancing strategies that support business objectives.

Design, lead, and facilitate organizational effectiveness initiatives, including employee communications, leadership development, and team effectiveness programs across all levels of the organization.

Direct and oversee HR contributions to the strategic plan for Ormco North America Functions, ensuring alignment with broader business priorities.

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on internal and external recruiting efforts, with an emphasis on commercial and leadership roles, to build and sustain a strong talent pipeline.

Provide expert guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations, performance management and conflict resolution, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes.

Drive talent development strategies for targeted employee populations to strengthen succession pipelines and organizational capability.

Lead and administer core talent processes (performance management, merit planning, promotions, and talent reviews), ensuring alignment with corporate and Ormco philosophies.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and ensuring HR policies, practices, and reporting meet all standards.

Lead and develop the HR team, assigning priorities, managing workflows, and continuously improving HR practices across North America functions and Ormco sites.

Recruit, select, coach, motivate, and evaluate HR direct reports, fostering a high-performing, collaborative HR organization.

Lead cross-functional and HR-led projects, contributing enterprise-wide impact beyond core HR responsibilities.

Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business needs.

Education/Experience/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in HR, Business Management, or a related field (MBA or MA preferred).

8–10 years of experience in Human Resources roles with increasing responsibility.

3 years of people leadership experience.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years’ Commercial HR experience.

Proven, strong collaboration and influencing skills.

Strong effective communication skills oral/written, with experience presenting to senior leadership teams.

Continuous improvement and growth mindset, preferably experienced in one or more continuous improvement methodologies.

Extensive Labor Relations and investigations experience.

Working knowledge of recruiting, data and analytics, sales compensation, and training and development.

Strong employment law knowledge.

Ability to drive projects to completion.

Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Workday knowledge preferred.

Prior work experience in a highly-regulated industry.

PHR/SPHR Certification preferred.

Travel Approximately 10% travel, with occasional international travel required.

Target Market Salary Range Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$171,400 - $257,100
