
Event Specialist

The Event Specialist is a critical support role behind Advisory Practice events. This is a hands‑on position responsible for preparing, coordinating, and executing event details that enable the Event Manager to deliver a seamless, high‑quality experience.

Responsibilities:
Own execution of event‑day operations including registration, reception, guest support, and live coordination
Prepare and manage all event materials including badges, signage, printed assets, and attendee kits
Execute event setup, breakdown, and on‑site logistics to ensure smooth operations
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align on requirements and maintain clear communication
Identify and resolve issues in real time while maintaining composure under pressure
Track, manage, and restock inventory to ensure all materials are prepared ahead of events
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in events, hospitality, or operations, preferably in large‑scale environments supporting 1,000+ person events
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment
Excellent communication and professionalism in guest‑facing situations
High ownership with a bias for action, including willingness to work weekends and extended hours when needed
Technology and AI‑forward mindset with willingness to learn new tools and systems quickly
Must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds as part of event setup, management, and breakdown
Results:
Events are executed flawlessly, meeting or exceeding expectations while staying on time and within budget
Attendees have a smooth, well‑organized, and high‑quality experience from start to finish
Event Managers and executives have clear visibility into execution and consistently provide positive feedback
Issues are resolved quickly and effectively with minimal disruption to the event experience
Inventory, materials, and logistics are consistently prepared, organized, and ready ahead of every event
Schedule:
Able to work M‑F onsite at Acquisition.com Las Vegas headquarters with the goal of being available during all events PST (hours may vary)
Must be flexible and able to work additional hours/weekends before workshop events/holidays if the situation warrants it

Compensation:
$55,000 - $65,000 base salary
