Job Summary The Parts Specialist Counter will be responsible for excellent customer service. Extending optimal customer care and concern is a priority. This position will require completing tasks at the parts counter, such as receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk‑in customers, completing all paperwork and processing it accordingly, and handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. They will be expected to perform all related warehouse duties, including accurate counting, receiving and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses. This person is expected to perform all necessary tasks surrounding contamination control and strongly focus on safety.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Highly motivated

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Provide excellent customer service

Good computer skills, including Microsoft applications

Strong attention to detail

Minimum Skills And Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

One or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, some of which should have been in a mechanical parts environment

Knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts preferred

Physical Requirements Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs.; lift/carry and 50 lb pulling; standing/sitting up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines; dexterity normal; repetitive motions frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers; noise level usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
