Director Conservatory of Dance (Part-time)

Position Summary
The COD Director oversees the administrative tasks of the Conservatory of Dance Program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scheduling classes in consultation with the COD Faculty Instructor, communicating with parents/guardians of enrolled students, advertising the program, updating the Handbooks and associated policies, and coordinating the final spring performance in collaboration with the COD Faculty Instructor. The COD Director reports to and collaborates with the Dance Department Chair to foster a community focused dance program for children while supporting the educational and curricular needs of the Dance Department.
Qualifications
3-5 years of dance teaching experience with children ages 3-14 years
BA in Dance required, Masters in Dance or Education Preferred
Ability to work independently and self-motivate
Possess excellent Communication/Interpersonal skills
