
Event and Marketing Manager

This role is a strategic and creative hybrid responsible for the end-to-end development of brand-driven content and the execution of world-class events. You will translate brand DNA into compelling narratives while managing the entire event lifecycle—from initial sales inquiry and budget planning to on-site production and post-event analysis.
Primary Responsibilities
Handle inquiry calls, proposals, negotiations and contracts according to departmental procedures
Develop strategies to maximize event sales and optimize profits.
Curate engaging events for the club and its members.
Manage the entire process of hosting events, including site surveys, production schedules, and the coordination of internal/external resources.
Develop production schedules and manage internal and external resources in support of client events.
Manage the entire process associated with hosting events at the restaurant, coordinate and manage the entitlements and expectations of the brand and client event sponsors.
Manage expectations, processes, and multiple projects simultaneously, while operating ethically to protect the image of the company.
Monitor marketing, referrals and leads, schedules and deliverables for contracted events.
Develop operating plans and budgets for prospective events while monitoring contracts, quotes, expenses and reimbursements.
Develop and maintain a preferred vendors list, ensuring all insurance and safety regulations are met.
Serve as Manager on Duty as required.
Own and evolve the content marketing strategy to ensure elevated storytelling across all channels.
Define frameworks that support seasonal launches, brand moments, and partner-led initiatives.
Execute and oversee brand copy to preserve a consistent and professional tone of voice.
Leverage audience insights and performance data to refine future strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of managers, strategists, and event staff.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners and internal teams (Operations, Reception, Retail, Spa, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage) to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements & Skills
Experience: 4+ years of special events management in a high-volume environment, with experience in content or brand marketing.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Deep understanding of the premium hospitality landscape.
Proven event management experience; strong contacts within the events and meetings industry; and an excellent track record of developing strong client relationships.
Expert in PeopleVine, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and industry tools such as Toast Tables, and Klayviyo.
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and maintain a flexible schedule to meet business demands.
Compensation
Estimated Salary Range: $95,000 – $110,000
