Overview
The Vineyard Operations Specialist will support all aspects of vineyard management, including fieldwork, seasonal planning, and team coordination. This role requires a balance of hands‑on execution and operational awareness to ensure vineyard health, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met. This role also operates within a small, collaborative team environment where flexibility is essential. Candidates must be willing to contribute beyond defined responsibilities to support overall operations during peak periods.
Duties
Execute daily vineyard operations including pruning, canopy management, spraying, and harvest activities
Monitor vine health, pests, and disease pressure, escalating concerns as needed
Assist with planning and execution of seasonal vineyard activities
Operate and maintain vineyard equipment safely and efficiently
Support labor coordination during peak seasons, including harvest
Maintain accurate records of vineyard activities and inputs
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across vineyard processes
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards
Job Requirements
2+ years of vineyard, agriculture, or related outdoor operations experience preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
Basic understanding of plant health, pest management, or crop production
Experience operating agricultural equipment is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and accountability
This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment. Candidates should be comfortable working in variable weather conditions and contributing wherever needed to support vineyard operations.
Pay: $47,575.02 - $57,294.64 per year
