Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and forward‑thinking tax leader to join our team as the Director of Global Tax Accounting. In this pivotal role, you will lead our global tax accounting team and provide strategic guidance on tax accounting and external reporting matters, reporting to the Senior Director of Global Tax Operations. The successful candidate will lead the tax accounting team in preparing projections and quarterly/year‑end reporting of the global corporate income tax provision, uncertain tax positions, and effective tax rate for US GAAP ensuring compliance with ASC 740 and Sarbanes‑Oxley Section 404. You will influence our growth and success by challenging the status quo, shaping future tax accounting operations, processes, and controls, and driving innovation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Lead projections and the quarterly and year‑end reporting of the global corporate income tax provision in compliance with US GAAP (and ASC 740).
Manage all aspects of global income tax reporting, including deferred tax assets/liabilities, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and effective tax rate calculations; communicate key results to executive leadership and finance team stakeholders.
Analyze and decipher complex tax and financial data, using technology and analytics, to drive insights and add strategic value to the finance organization.
Collaborate with tax colleagues globally in compliance, planning, and controversy to advise on tax accounting considerations under ASC 740.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, external consultants, and statutory auditors.
Provide guidance, support, and critical review oversight to the tax accounting team on tax accounting matters, including SOX‑related and other internal controls.
Champion operational excellence through process improvement, best practices, and leveraging automation and technology.
Lead the global tax accounting team with a growth mentality and mentor team members to foster a high‑performance culture.
Stay up‑to‑date on US GAAP/ASC 740/SEC regulatory changes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax is preferred.
10+ years of diverse global tax experience, with at least 5 years of specific tax accounting experience and 2+ years in a director‑level role.
Extensive experience with ASC 740 reporting for public US‑based multinational corporations.
Proven experience leading, managing, developing, and motivating high‑performing teams.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex tax matters clearly to non‑experts.
Strong knowledge of tax accounting software and systems, including OneSource Tax provision software (OTP or similar).
Experience with automated processes and data visualization tools and tax technology (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.

Salary Range The expected salary range for this role is $178,121.00–$222,651.00 per year.
