At Kiddie Academy (KAGS Group) we provide high-quality early childhood education to families across the Greater Seattle area. We are seeking an experienced recruiter to lead hiring across our multi-location organization. This is a hands‑on and high‑ownership role for an early childhood education recruiter who understands the childcare talent market, knows how to identify strong teachers and management talent, and can move candidates through the hiring process with urgency, professionalism, and sound judgment.
We are looking for someone with recruiting experience in child care, preschool, early childhood education, or a similar service‑based environment.
The right person will represent our organization with credibility, build strong candidate pipelines, and partner effectively with academy leadership. They will bring the experience and judgment to identify candidates who are both capable and aligned with our culture, values, and high standards.
In this role you will:
Lead full-cycle recruiting from job posting through screening, interview coordination, and offer stage
Manage job ads and recruiting channels with discipline and attention to results, while proactively sourcing active and passive candidates
Identify and engage strong candidates quickly and professionally, and assess fit for role, professionalism, communication, and alignment with our culture and standards
Partner effectively with academy leadership and candidates to keep the hiring process moving smoothly and efficiently from application through offer
Build relationships and source candidates through schools, colleges, training programs, career fairs, and other early childhood talent sources.
We are Looking For:
At least 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in child care, preschool, early childhood education, or a similar service-based environment
Experience recruiting both teachers and child care management roles
Strong judgment in assessing people, communication style, professionalism, reliability, and fit
Strong communication and relationship-building skills; engaging, persuasive, and able to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
Organized, responsive, tech-savvy, and highly follow-through oriented
Confident managing multiple openings, priorities, and internal stakeholders at once
Direct child care management experience, including former Directors or similar leadership roles, may also be considered if they bring strong recruiting judgment, follow-through, and technology comfort
