Qualitate’s AI Moderator interviews thousands of experts simultaneously each month, capturing forward‑looking purchasing plans, competitive displacement, and real‑time ROI signals. The platform turns these interviews into quantified, time‑series outputs tracking over 10,000 public and private companies – queryable instantly in natural language.

Our customers include some of the world’s largest enterprises, hedge funds, PE firms, credit investors, and venture capital firms. We’re growing fast, and need account executives to help scale our GTM organization.

The Role You’ll own Qualitate’s hedge fund vertical. You’ll sell directly to fundamental equity, multi‑strategy, and event‑driven funds, among other strategies. This is a full‑cycle closing role: you build your own pipeline, run your own demos, and close your own deals. The right person for this role knows how to translate product capabilities into the language of idea generation, conviction‑building, and investment edge.

What the day‑to‑day looks like:

Prospect into and close hedge funds across public market strategies, including fundamental L/S, multi‑strat, event‑driven, and activist. You own the full cycle from first touch to signed contract.

Build pipeline through your own network, outbound prospecting, conference presence, modern AI tooling, and creative approaches.

Run demos tailored to how each fund actually does research. The best reps at Qualitate map our platform to specific workflows: idea sourcing, channel checks, management team diligence, sector deep‑dives.

Navigates buying processes that range from a single PM decision to multi‑stakeholder approvals involving directors of research, CIOs, compliance, and procurement.

Manage trials and proof‑of‑concepts through to conversion, driving adoption and purchasing in target accounts.

Feed product insights back to engineering. Your market signal directly shapes what we build.

Help build the sales playbook. As part of our founding go‑to‑market team, you’ll shape our hedge fund sales process, messaging, competitive positioning, and CRM standards from scratch.

Who This Role Is For

3–8 years of quota‑carrying closing experience selling software, data, or research products into hedge funds and similar public market investment firms. You know the difference between how a $500M single‑PM fund operates versus a $20B multi‑strat platform.

You have a network of hedge fund professionals you can activate immediately. You know how to get meetings with PMs, senior analysts, and directors of research without relying on inbound leads or SDR support.

You understand the fundamental research workflow. How funds source ideas, build conviction through primary research, size positions, and manage risk. You can articulate how Qualitate fits into that process in the terms buyers actually care about.

You’ve sold to skeptical, analytically rigorous buyers. You know how to earn credibility, demonstrate concrete value, and let the product speak.

You’re comfortable with fast sales cycles measured in weeks, with iterative, demo‑driven selling motions.

You’ve built. Early‑stage or high‑growth experience where process didn’t exist and you created it.

What Sets You Apart

Direct experience selling alt data, expert network services, or research workflow tools to hedge funds.

Familiarity with the competitive landscape in expert networks, market research, and AI tooling for finance.

You’ve been part of an early sales team where you helped build the GTM function.

Prior experience as an equity research analyst, hedge fund analyst, or in investment banking before moving into sales.

Compensation and Benefits

OTE: Competitive base + uncapped commissions with accelerators above quota. Early‑stage equity stake.
