Specialty Sales Representative- Immunology - Long Island, NY Location: NY-Long Island, US

Area: SALES

Responsibilities

Consistently demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and represent the Grifols immunoglobulin product portfolio with an advanced comprehension of disease state knowledge and treatment approaches.

Lead in-depth discussions requiring advanced product and disease state knowledge.

Keep abreast of competitive product dynamics and changing treatment practices or guidelines.

Engage a broad range of audiences and understand how to work regional/local systems, centers of excellence, specialty pharmacy customers, and individuals involved in the customer journey.

Communicate clinical messages that are relevant and specific to each influencer in the decision process.

Demonstrate account‑based selling skills and build relationships in institutions aligned with customer segmentation.

Partner with Marketing, Ig Nurse Educators, MSL, Value Access, etc. to educate and promote the IG product portfolio to customers.

Map Key Opinion Leaders and maintain appropriate relationships with Grifols Medical Liaison.

Use technology for call planning, field communications, reporting, sales data analysis, and generating insights.

Operate a hybrid, rep‑enabled omnichannel approach to respond to customers, marketing, operations, analytics, and medical affairs needs.

Move at a rapid pace using digital resources for customer engagement.

Develop and implement territory plans based on data analysis and market intelligence.

Represent customers in forecasting processes and align tactics to customer needs.

Maintain credibility and trust with key targeted customers and act as a valued strategic partner and trusted advisor.

Coordinate resources (MSL, IG Nurse Educator, reimbursement specialist) to fulfill customer needs.

Provide customer insights to Marketing teams for integrated solution development.

Business Acumen

Understand market fluctuations and plasma economics of the system/institution.

Know the distribution of biologics, key local customers, and market dynamics to build strong distributor relationships.

Familiarity with physician management companies and managed care coverage across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Apply customer needs and segmentation to territory planning and modify strategies as needed.

Use salesforce data to analyze buying patterns, trends, and opportunities.

Understand and navigate account contract information within Salesforce.

Stakeholder Engagement

Establish credibility and trust with key targeted customers.

Act as a valued strategic partner and trusted advisor, delivering follow‑through for customer satisfaction.

Communicate effectively with external and internal stakeholders, aligning with national brand strategy.

Collaborate with biopharma across therapeutic boundaries to understand local market needs.

Manage resources to impact pull‑through (MSL, IG Nurse Educator, reimbursement specialist).

Gather and provide customer insights to Marketing teams and communicate contract changes.

Understand share‑of‑cost impact to regional or local systems.

Legal, Ethics & Compliance

Ensure appropriate training and alignment to guidance.

Skills, Qualifications & Education Requirements

BS/BA degree; healthcare/life science and/or business/marketing degree a plus.

4+ years of pharmaceutical or biological sales experience.

Self‑starter capable of managing time between unexpected circumstances.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and market analysis presentations.

Daily laptop use for planning, call activity, and territory needs.

Occasional overnight travel; weekend or evening work may be required.

Daily Physical Demands The role requires operation of a corporate vehicle within the assigned territory; frequent walking, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 35 lbs. Requires long periods of sitting, frequent hand movements, and ability to communicate complex information.

Compensation & Benefits Estimated pay scale: $120,000 – $145,000 per year. Eligible for an incentive compensation plan of up to $45,000 per year, uncapped.
