Facilities Operations Management Director
We are seeking a highly experienced IFM business leader to be Facility Operations Director for North America (NORAM) region and spearhead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of a new, globally consistent operating model leveraging innovative technologies from CBRE and Client within a regulated GxP environment. This role is a critical component of our commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will be a seasoned IFM operator, with experience of designing and implementing a large-scale change. They will work with CBRE and Client Team to drive the change and ensuring the seamless Facility Operations of our ways of working to optimize performance and provide delivery assurance for scorecard and broader operational metrics. Client Leadership: Strategic Client Management:
Lead, manage, and nurture the strategic relationship between CBRE and the client across the NORAM region. Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at CBRE, the Client, Suppliers, and other relevant partners. Performance Management:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the operating model Facility Operations, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic objectives. Financial Management:
Oversee the financial Facility Operations, ensuring financial transparency in line with contractual commitment or good working practices are achieved as part of the operating model design a systems use. Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the Facility Operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Governance:
Design the phased roll out of the operating model implementation plan and provide a biweekly update of progress for CBRE and Client stakeholders. Ensure project roles are clearly understood with associated deliverables and responsibilities. Contract Management:
Oversee the management of the Facility Operations, ensuring compliance calendar tasks and broader contract compliance and proactively identifying opportunities for operational optimization. Operating Model Design and Implementation: Operating Model Design:
Lead the design and implementation of a new, globally consistent operating model leveraging CBRE and Client technologies, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and assuring compliance. Southeast A Restructure:
Support the restructuring of the Southeast PA CBRE roles and responsibilities, leveraging CBRE offshore capability for non-essential administration that can be done remotely to minimize costs and align with the global operating model. Training:
Design and implement the training packages for all operational roles to ensure consistent and compliant use of the new operating model and supporting systems. Technology Integration:
Collaborate with Account D&T Team and the client to integrate and optimize the use of relevant technologies, ensuring seamless data flow, automation, and reporting. GxP Compliance:
Ensure the CBRE operating model adheres to all relevant GxP regulations, including validation, documentation, and training requirements. Change Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan to support the Facility Operations to the new operating model, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement. Process Optimization:
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery. Self-Delivery Conversion:
Lead the conversion to self-delivery of technical services where business cases demonstrate clear benefits, including cost savings, improved quality, and enhanced control. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of the new operating model and identify areas for continuous improvement. Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, finance, legal, and compliance, to ensure successful implementation. Key Deliverables: Successful implementation of the global operating model in line with the approved project plan timetable. No business upsets because of the global operation model Facility Operations. NORAM design and implementation of the CBRE operating method is appropriately consistent with the EMEA region. Enacted comprehensive change management plan for CBRE employees, CBRE vendors and the Client. Validated business cases and successful conversion to self-delivery of technical services where benefits are realized. Key Success Measures: 100% scorecard achieved in relation to all compliance calendar tasks. Evidenced cost reduction. Improved KPI score Conversion to self-perform with no operational issues and reduced cost or improved service delivery score. Positive feedback from the client, and or CBRE team members and or vendors. Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in Operational Facilities Management and Business Management Bachelor's degree in engineering Proven experience in designing and implementing operating models within a GxP regulated environment. Experience with CMMS and IFM associated technologies. Demonstrated experience in change management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership. Motivational highly experienced leader Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Financial acumen and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Experience in technical service self-delivery models and conversion strategies.
