Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer Project Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Barrington, IL. In this role, you will oversee interior design projects from conception to completion, manage timelines and budgets, and ensure design excellence. Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing construction drawings, developing space plans, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver projects that align with the client’s vision and expectations.
Qualifications
Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design to optimize functionality and aesthetics
Ability to create shop drawings for Cabinets and Millwork
Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings for design implementation
Experience with FF&E selection, procurement, and integration
Strong project management skills, including sub-contractor management and scheduling
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
Experience working in luxury custom home projects is highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
