Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH This position is full time temporary (3 month assignment), with the potential of becoming permanent. The Executive Chauffeur is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and discreet transportation services primarily for the CEO, while also supporting transportation and logistical needs for executives at the Irvine office. This role requires a high level of professionalism, flexibility, confidentiality, and attention to detail. In addition to driving responsibilities, the Executive Chauffeur will assist with errands, vehicle fleet maintenance, and light office and residential support as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Executive Transportation
Safely drive the CEO on a daily, as-needed basis to meetings, events, and personal appointments
Provide ground transportation for the CEO throughout Southern California, including destinations such as LAX, John Wayne Airport (SNA), Palm Desert, San Diego, and surrounding areas
Drive the CEO’s motorhome as required
Support driving needs for other executives at the local Irvine office as needed
Errands & Deliveries
Complete personal and business-related errands, including picking up prescriptions, dry cleaning, and miscellaneous items
Deliver wine and other items locally throughout Southern California
Deliver packages and mail to the CEO’s residence
Vehicle & Fleet Management
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the executive vehicle fleet
Coordinate and transport vehicles for routine maintenance, repairs, fueling, registration, and inspections
Monitor vehicle condition and report any issues promptly
Office & Home Support
Provide general support related to office and residential maintenance as needed
Assist with ad hoc tasks that support the CEO, office operations, or household needs
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience as a professional chauffeur, executive driver, or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Southern California roadways and traffic patterns
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Flexible schedule with availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and travel days as needed
Professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including large vehicles such as a motorhome
SPECIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES/MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of the job the team member regularly stands for sustained periods of time or walks from one work area to another. While performing the duties of the job the team member frequently uses fingers to enter data into computer or operate office equipment, open car doors and operate vehicles. The team member occasionally grasps objects such as luggage. The team member frequently reaches by extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction to load and unload luggage. The team member occasionally stoops, kneels and crouches. The team member regularly talks when communicating with guests. The team member regularly needs to hear voices while interacting with guests and sounds involved with driving safely. The team member frequently pushes and pulls luggage carts and equipment. Lifting is regularly required to move, load and unload luggage and equipment. Exerts up to 70 pounds of force occasionally, and 20-50 pounds more regularly, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects such as luggage. The team member is required to have close visual acuity to view instrument panel in vehicle. The team member is required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment. The team member is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned and to make general observations of facilities.
The team member is usually subject to environmental conditions found working outdoors and occasionally works indoors. Exposed to weather conditions such as wind, rain, cold and hot climate temperatures while working outside. The noise level is moderate. The team member is subject to hazards which includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving vehicles and electrical current found in office machinery. The team member is occasionally subject to atmospheric conditions such as perfumes, fumes, gases, odors, or dusts.
