Job Overview
Oliver Wyman is a management consulting firm that brings deep industry insight and bold innovation to help clients navigate transformative moments. As a Senior Copywriter in our Creative Studio, you will develop big ideas and craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience. The role blends concept development and copy craftsmanship, requiring creativity, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate complex subjects into clear, everyday language. You will collaborate with art directors or work independently to bring our brand to life through storytelling. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our midtown NYC office; fully remote is not possible.
Key Responsibilities
Write original copy that grabs attention across video, digital, and social media.
Generate unique ideas that communicate complex topics to diverse audiences.
Ensure all copy aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging strategy.
Partner with art directors, designers, and the media team to realize your vision.
Present concepts internally and handle objections constructively.
Shape creative briefs to provide a compelling starting point for work.
Collaborate with managers and team members to refine processes, share insights, and drive continuous improvement.
Stay up‑to‑date with industry innovations and trends.
Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of creative copywriting experience with a strong understanding of advertising and marketing.
Experience in a traditional art director/copywriter conceptual team.
Strong portfolio showcasing B2B and B2C projects, emphasizing conceptual thinking and creative execution.
Proficiency in crafting scripts for presentations, videos, ads, and digital content.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and keen eye for detail.
Familiarity with brand development, messaging strategy, and advertising principles.
Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this role is $80,000 to $125,000, determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to base pay, the position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. The total rewards package includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401k savings and other retirement programs, and employee assistance programs.
