
Assistant /Associate Professor of Marketing

Position Overview
The Management and Marketing Department within the School of Business at Rhode Island College invites applications for a full‑time, tenure‑track Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing. The successful candidate will teach courses related to Marketing, contribute to the program’s ongoing development, and engage in scholarly research, advising students, curriculum development, and departmental, college, and university initiatives.
Responsibilities
Teach three marketing courses, including introductory and advanced level courses.
Advise and mentor undergraduate students, guiding their academic progress, internships, and career development.
Participate in curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement of the department’s programs.
Serve on departmental, college, and university committees as part of faculty governance.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Chair.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Marketing or closely related field; ABD may be considered.
Experience:
Teaching experience at the college level is desired; industry experience is also an asset but not required.
Preferred Qualifications Environmental conditions note: The employee is not exposed to known adverse environmental conditions.
