
Regional Business Manager - Targeted Temperature Management (West Region)

Job Description Summary
The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will partner with national leadership to develop and execute a focused business strategy for the Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) product group. The RBM will lead a regional sales team of Associate Sales Managers, Territory Managers, and Territory Sales Specialists to achieve financial and business objectives for the assigned geography. Full accountability for demand generation, account support, and business development activities will be required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Meet and exceed regional sales quotas.
Supervise, coach, and develop sales representatives—including Territory Managers, Associate Territory Managers, and Territory Sales Specialists.
Recruit, assess, and hire sales personnel with appropriate competencies.
Create and maintain a learning environment to develop current employees and prepare them for advancement.
Collaborate with the sales team to assess capabilities and provide timely feedback on customer requirements and market issues.
Plan, monitor, and report progress of each territory and the overall region toward annual sales goals.
Establish and manage the regional budget.
Provide frequent verbal and written performance feedback.
Conduct quarterly field visits with direct reports for business reviews.
Monitor forecast accuracy, Salesforce tracking, and Win Room conversations.
Qualifications
BS/BA degree required; 5+ years of medical product sales experience preferred.
Experience in capital equipment sales and people management strongly preferred.
COVID‑19 vaccination required.
Language, Mathematical, and Reasoning Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication with superiors, direct reports, and customers.
Highly effective presenter.
Strong analytical skills to process complex information for ongoing sales monitoring.
Logical reasoning to apply common‑sense solutions to objectives.
Physical Demands
Extensive travel (50‑70% of time) to meet with sales representatives, customers, and internal leadership.
Field‑based position requiring an office set‑up in the employee’s residence.
Work Environment
Field‑based with 50‑70% travel.
Office set‑up in the employee’s residence.
Eligible for benefits and compensation per BD’s standard packages.
Salary range: $218,371 – $360,311 (Base Salary + Annual Sales Incentive). The final offer is based on experience, education, skills, and location.
Primary Work Location: Louisville, CO, USA Additional Locations: Available (subject to business needs)
