We are seeking a talented and competitive Firm Relationship & Partnership Manager who will be remote based in the Bay Area, Long Beach, or Los Angeles area. This role is responsible for growing new business opportunities for the UWorld Accounting & Finance Review division, selling directly to CPA Firms, Colleges & Universities, and Corporations, collaborating with our B2B Sales Team across California, Arizona, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and Utah. The Partnership Manager partners with colleges, universities, instructors, directors of Accounting and Finance programs, interns, new hires, and firm/corporation candidates by establishing relationships with CPA firms/corporations to drive revenue growth. The role requires proficient knowledge of UWorld CPA Review, the CPA Exam, the 2024 Exam Evolution, and related review programs in Accounting & Finance. The Manager will actively manage a large multi-state territory, drive and nurture new prospects through the sales funnel, schedule and deliver sales presentations and events, and retain and grow sales in the region. The Firm Partnership Manager serves as the regional representative for the business and participates in sales and marketing events at accounting firms or corporations in the assigned territory, with overnight travel required for conferences, meetings, and sales presentations. Primary Responsibilities Execute all elements of a proactive local sales strategy, including engaging with external clients and organizations to provide accurate information about the UWorld Accounting & Finance Review products, focusing on the CPA, CMA, CIA, CFA, and CMT Exams and updates to the 2024 CPA Exam Evolution. Support and maintain the existing customer base while expanding market presence and building new business. Deliver account-specific presentations, demonstrations, lunch-and-learns, and other strategies to grow revenue in the assigned territory. Identify opportunities for new business and growth at existing accounts, pursuing them through closing and renewal. Develop and execute individualized sales and marketing strategies within each Firm/Corporation in the designated territory. Responsibilities Specific To Drive revenues at Firms/Corporations by managing relationships with the COO, Managing Directors, Human Resources, Learning Directors, Administrators, and recruiters. Establish and participate in firm/corporation events, webcasts, Meet the Firms, and related opportunities to provide thought leadership. Build, maintain, and strengthen new and existing relationships with Firm/Corporation admins, partners, and directors to generate sales inquiries, pilots, partnerships, and revenue. Qualifications 7 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success and professional standards. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred in business, sales, marketing, or related discipline. Proven history of meeting or exceeding goals and sales quotas in technology or educational technology. Experience in new verticals is a plus. Must have reliable transportation. Up to 50% travel required. Strong knowledge of Salesforce, MS Office, Google Suite, and related tools. Self-motivated with initiative and the ability to work in an unstructured environment (operational mindset, decisive, results-oriented). Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others without formal authority. Excellent written and oral communication, presentation, and technology skills. Creative, resourceful, meticulous, and highly organized. Ability to travel overnight within an interstate territory; air travel and extended vehicle periods may be required. Must live in California. Travel Travel up to 50%. Busy travel seasons: February 1 – June 30; September 1 – November 15. 50% of travel is day trips; 50% involves 2- and 3-night trips.
