Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for delivering high-quality support to customers while accurately processing and managing customer orders. This role serves as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring orders are entered correctly, inquiries are resolved promptly, and customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the order lifecycle. This is a great opportunity located near Lake Zurich, IL. Responsibilities: Provide professional customer support via phone, email, and online systems by responding to inquiries, requests, and order-related issues. Enter, review, and process customer orders accurately, including new orders, changes, returns, and cancellations. Verify pricing, product availability, quantities, and delivery dates to ensure order accuracy and timely fulfillment. Communicate order confirmations, updates, backorders, shipping details, and tracking information to customers. Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, production, shipping, and inventory to resolve order discrepancies and service issues. Assist customers with quotes, lead times, and general product or service information. Maintain accurate and organized customer and order records within ERP, CRM, or order management systems. Resolve customer concerns related to pricing, shipment delays, or order errors in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus. Previous experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative support roles. Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or CRM systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, or B2B customers. Familiarity with order processing, quoting, and inventory coordination. Experience handling a high volume of customer inquiries and orders.
