Overview
Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager
The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays a crucial role in driving the success of the organization by managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This position involves prospecting and developing new business clients while also analyzing client risks to recommend appropriate coverage. The manager will build long-term relationships with business owners and collaborate with account managers for effective service delivery. The role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage a pipeline effectively. Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new commercial/business clients
Analyze client risk and recommend appropriate coverage
Quote and place business across multiple insurance carriers
Build long-term relationships with business owners
Collaborate with commercial account managers for servicing
Identify cross-sell opportunities within client accounts
Meet or exceed sales targets
Qualifications
2+ years of commercial insurance
Active Property & Casualty License
Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
HS Diploma
Bachelor's degree is preferred
