About the Job Develop and implement organization-wide communications strategies
Write, edit, and manage content such as press releases, blogs, and e‑newsletters
Support communications for organizational initiatives, events, and partnerships
Manage media relations
Collaborate with outside vendors to support website, social media, and digital communications content
Support fundraising and donor communications
About You Bachelor's degree required
3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or nonprofit/association environments
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Collaborative, proactive, and mission-driven
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email marketing tools
$70,000-$80,000 (DOE)
Remote position, ideally based in the DMV with occasional travel to the HQ in VA
