Role Description Develops and prepares multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of the semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineering. Work may be completed through use of CAD or other computerized equipment. Checks dimensions, writes specifications, and verifies completed drawings, artwork or digitized plots. May check design layouts and detailed drawings.

We are looking for talented Analog Circuit Design Engineers and Layout Designers to join us at our sites in Cary, NC and Austin, TX.

We have multiple openings Junior and Senior level.

Minimum requirements:

Minimum education: Associate's degree in Engineering or related field of study or program certificate in IC Mask Layout Design Minimum of 1 years of experience.

Responsibilities

Completes work through use of Cadence Virtuoso and Mentor Calibre Works with engineer to complete layouts within a project database Ensures sub-circuits conform to design rules and circuit schematics Ensures layout designs conform to all verification decks Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes

Desired Experience And Skills

Familiarity with Cadence, Calibre and Unix Basic knowledge of matching techniques Basic knowledge of hierarchy Basic knowledge of verification Familiarity with design rules Proficient in email and MS Office Good communication skills
