Overview
Chief of Staff to the CIO (Global) reports to the Chief Information Officer. Location: Onsite Needham, MA - Hybrid. The Global IT organization enables SharkNinja’s growth, innovation velocity, and global expansion. The Chief of Staff serves as an extension of the CIO, aligning, prioritizing, and executing across the IT leadership team and enterprise stakeholders. The role blends strategic thinking, operational execution, executive communication, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring strategic priorities translate into action with data-driven decisions and clear, fast IT execution. Responsibilities
Serve as strategic advisor and operational extension of the CIO, amplifying executive effectiveness and focus. Translate IT strategy into actionable priorities, roadmaps, operating rhythms, and measurable KPIs. Drive executive cadence: leadership meetings, QBRs, board materials, transformation reviews, and global communications. Ensure cross-functional alignment across IT sub-functions (Applications, Infrastructure, Data, Cybersecurity, PMO, Enterprise Architecture). Identify organizational friction, misalignment, and bottlenecks; proactively design solutions to accelerate performance. Partner with Finance and FP&A to align investment strategies with portfolio priorities and long-term objectives. Lead special strategic initiatives and breakthrough projects on behalf of the CIO. Oversee organizational health metrics including talent planning, succession planning, workforce planning, and capability development. Elevate executive storytelling — ensuring IT’s value creation is clearly articulated across the enterprise. Act as integrator and dot connector across global technology teams — reinforcing that Details Make the Difference. Drive a culture of accountability, speed, and disciplined execution — ensuring the organization is Rarely Satisfied. Qualifications
12–15+ years of experience in technology strategy, transformation leadership, consulting, or executive operations roles. Proven experience operating at the executive level within global, matrixed organizations. Strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes (ERP, cloud, data platforms, digital commerce, cybersecurity). Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills (Board-level exposure preferred). Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable impact. High emotional intelligence and ability to influence across diverse stakeholders. Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives. Strong analytical and financial acumen. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Salary and Benefits
The annual salary range is $198,800 – $220,000 USD.
