Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Director to join their Administrative Team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Executive Director with over all management and administration of programs and operations
Oversee day-to-day functions, including occupancy, maintenance, and administrative activities
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Assist in budget preparation, financial oversight, and reporting
Supervise staff and coordinate departmental efforts
Monitor program performance and prepare reports as required
Assist with procurement processes, contracts, and vendor management
Address resident or client concerns and support community engagement initiatives
Participate in strategic planning, policy development, and organizational initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of administrative, management, or related experience
Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
Valid driver’s license
Eligible to be bonded (background and credit review may be required)
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
Experience in public housing, property management, or government programs
Knowledge of federal housing regulations
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
