Brand new opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Plumbing Designer with proficiency in commercial plumbing system design to join an expanding engineering team! Core Responsibilities
Design plumbing systems for a wide range of building types and facility uses
Develop plumbing system layouts, design documentation, and technical specifications
Prepare and review construction drawings, reports, and design details
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects and engineers, throughout all project phases
Provide contractor support by addressing RFIs and reviewing submittals during construction
Conduct on-site field observations and site visits to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
Communicate effectively in both remote settings and on-site client interactions
Qualifications
5–25+ years of mechanical plumbing design experience within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry
Associate’s degree in mechanical design, HVAC technology, architecture, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering a plus
Proficiency in Revit, and AutoCAD proficiency a plus
Exposure to water/wastewater or site utility design a plus
Residency in Minnesota or Western Wisconsin required to support local projects and occasional site visits
