The Senior Business Analytics Analyst serves as a strategic partner to Operations and business stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive performance and decision-making. This role focuses on connecting data to real business outcomes, helping stakeholders understand what’s happening, why it matters, and what to do next.
This is a Full Time, remote Senior Business Analytics Analyst role.
What You’ll Do Strategic Partnership & Advisory
Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders by translating business questions into structured analytical approaches
Collaborate cross-functionally to align analytics with operational priorities and business goals
Guide stakeholders toward data-informed decisions through clear recommendations
Insight Generation & Data Storytelling
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
Transform data into clear, compelling narratives that highlight key takeaways and business impact
Present insights in a tailored, concise, and actionable way for different audiences
Business Analytics & Problem Solving
Evaluate performance across programs, sites, and populations to identify drivers and improvement opportunities
Proactively identify business challenges and use data to recommend practical solutions
Work with large datasets (including claims and EMR data) to answer business questions and support decision-making
Reporting & Visualization Excellence
Develop and deliver dashboards and reports that clearly communicate performance and key insights
Ensure reporting is intuitive, relevant, and aligned with stakeholder needs
Continuously refine reporting to improve clarity, usability, and impact
Quality & Data Integrity
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
Partner with Business Intelligence teams to resolve data and reporting issues
Project Execution & Delivery
Manage multiple priorities while meeting service level agreements and deadlines
Support user acceptance testing for new reports, metrics, and enhancements
Leadership & Mentorship
Mentor junior analysts, helping them strengthen business thinking and storytelling skills
Promote best practices in analytics, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Mathematics, Healthcare, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in analytics, with a focus on business insights and stakeholder engagement
Experience translating business needs into reporting and analysis
Experience in healthcare analytics preferred, including claims and/or EMR data
SQL or Python experience preferred
Ability to influence decisions through insights and recommendations
Strong understanding of how data connects to operational and financial performance
Ability to clearly communicate insights and recommended actions
Advanced Excel and experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Omni preferred)
Proactive, solutions‑oriented thinker
Strong verbal and written communication skills across audiences
High level of accuracy and accountability

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $60,000.00 – $77,900.00 annually. The rate offered for this position will be based on your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time‑off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time‑off per actual hours worked or based on the standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time‑off accrual, detailed above.
