Job Summary: Builds and maintains pricing models to support proposal efforts accurately and efficiently, assists with commercial pricing, conducts financial analysis, and reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis or the Vice President of Government Development.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Assists in the implementation of strategic pricing initiatives for Government Programs.
Creates metrics to monitor actual pricing performance against the plan.
Builds cost volumes and supports Government proposal efforts.
Documents policies and procedures for each area of pricing.
Implements pricing best practices.
Collaborates closely with the Vice President of Government Development to secure new business initiatives.
Develops processes for capturing and analyzing commercial program business prospects.
Provides analysis as needed.
Daily attendance is an essential part of the position.
Education, Experience, License, or Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Training in Government cost volumes or proposal efforts is preferred.
Five or more years of financial/accounting experience in the Government sector, superior analytical skills, advanced modeling skills in Microsoft Excel, and strong written communication skills are required. Understanding of Government cost models and CLIN Structure is essential.
Travel/Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Physical effort associated with standing, walking, and sitting.
Manual dexterity required for grasping items, using both hands, and the ability to push or pull (e.g., opening/closing file cabinets or handling machinery)
