
Invoicing Specialist I

We are looking for an Invoicing Specialist for our new Sussex facility! The Invoicing Specialist I provides entry-level financial, administrative, and clerical support to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer and vendor invoices.
Responsibilities
Performs basic review of customer invoices for completeness and accuracy
Enters vendor invoices into the accounting system following established procedures
Electronically files vendor invoices and required documentation
Responds to routine vendor and customer inquiries, escalating complex issues
Assists with compiling information for weekly payment runs
Maintains organized financial records and support clerical tasks
Collaborates with A/R and senior staff by providing documentation as requested
Forwards issues related to tax questions or credit discrepancies to senior staff
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
0–1+ years in invoicing, billing, AP, or administrative experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Communication, customer service, attention to detail, time management
Familiarity with accounting systems or financial data entry
Preferred Job Requirements
Familiarity with accounting systems or financial data entry
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
