Within the Packaging Communications team, you will be playing an active role to create the packaging communications strategy and drive measurable business impact by delivering qualified sales leads and accelerating revenue growth through an integrated omni-channel communications approach. This role bridges the innovative work of two key business units: Packaging Solutions and Development & Technology. We produce 180 billion packages each year and understand that different food and beverages have diverse customer requirements, and packaging must be appealing for consumers and retailers, be environmentally sustainable, and also optimised for global distribution challenges. Whether it’s innovating the packaging solution for the newest plant-based drink, to extending shelf life, using certified recycled materials, or further developing renewable materials, this role needs to communicate all of this and more!
In addition to this, the role requires to promote our engineering expertise, leveraging best-in‑class manufacturing technologies, and of course to showcase our amazing people that come to work and develop world leading food processing and packaging solutions.
Strategic Communications Leadership
Demonstrated ownership of a global, multi-year communications strategy developed and executed across at least 15 countries, including evidence of measurable business impact such as pipeline acceleration, market share contribution or cost-of-acquisition improvements.
Proven ability to translate complex technical or engineering solutions into compelling value propositions, demonstrated through previous campaigns with quantifiable results (for example, X percent increase in qualified sales leads).
Create, update and execute a rolling annual communications plan for the Packaging Solutions and Development & Technology businesses, ensuring alignment with the company’s integrated solutions strategy.
Lead a team of professionals to deliver communications that generate leads, drive sales activation and strengthen customer relationships across all channels.
Promote the full offering and communicate value propositions in an outside‑in, customer‑centric way that resonates with decision‑makers.
Integrate category communication into product launches and the existing portfolio, ensuring relevance for each category and subcategory.
Align communications with paid activation, events calendar, sales materials and marketing automation flows to maximise impact.
Integrated Omni‑channel Campaign Execution
Proven leadership experience of integrated campaigns for a multi‑national organisation exceeding EUR 500k, across paid, owned and earned channels, including full ROI analysis.
Demonstrable experience using marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot) to build automated journeys, nurture flows and segment audiences – candidates must present dashboards or performance reports they personally built.
Sales Enablement and Revenue Impact
Proven track record of developing sales toolkits that directly contributed to opportunity conversion, supported by quantifiable KPIs such as win‑rate improvement, shortened sales cycle or growth in solution adoption.
Experience partnering with commercial teams where communication initiatives demonstrably supported specific revenue targets, including examples of contribution metrics.
Category and Portfolio Storytelling

Internal Communications for Large Technical Workforces
Proven ability to engage large, globally distributed technical or engineering employee groups (5,000+ employees) through structured internal communication programmes, with evidence of improved alignment, engagement scores or adoption of strategic initiatives.
Leadership Communications at Executive Level
Experience directly preparing Executive Vice Presidents or C‑suite leaders for internal and external communications, with examples of speeches, message houses, Q&As, or crisis statements the candidate personally led.
Measurement, Analytics and Process Discipline
Proven track record of creating communications processes from scratch, deploying them across multiple teams, and demonstrating measurable improvements – for example, crisis workflow adoption, content production velocity or governance adherence.

Agency and Supplier Management

Extensive experience (10+ years) spanning marketing, communications and portfolio roles, with the ability to translate complex business needs into integrated value-driven solutions.
Experience in an international cross‑functional environment and relevant working areas
