Job Summary The Business Development Executive, Capex is a full lifecycle role responsible for generating new business and managing multifamily CapEx renovation projects from bid through completion. This position combines business development, estimating, and project management, requiring someone who can both win work and execute it successfully. The focus will be on expanding Renova One’s CapEx presence across Florida by building relationships with key multifamily clients and delivering high-quality interior and exterior renovation projects. The ideal candidate brings experience in the multifamily CapEx space, with the ability to develop opportunities, build accurate proposals, and manage projects through completion while maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
Business Development
Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new CapEx renovation opportunities within the multifamily sector
Build relationships with property management groups, ownership groups, and CapEx decision-makers
Generate consistent pipeline through cold outreach, networking, and industry involvement
Develop and execute targeted strategies to penetrate key accounts across Florida
Represent Renova One at industry events, trade associations, and client meetings
Estimating & Preconstruction
Walk job sites and perform detailed takeoffs for interior and exterior CapEx projects
Develop scopes of work, budgets, and competitive proposals
Leverage subcontractor and vendor relationships to build accurate pricing
Present proposals to clients and negotiate contracts
Ensure alignment between scope, pricing, and operational execution
Project Management
Manage CapEx projects from award through completion
Lead project kickoff, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and subcontractors
Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
Oversee budgets, timelines, quality control, and job profitability
Manage change orders, billing, and collections in partnership with accounting
Ensure successful project closeout and client satisfaction
Qualifications
Experience in multifamily CapEx, renovation, or construction
Proven ability to sell and manage construction projects
Experience with estimating, takeoffs, and proposal development
Strong understanding of exterior renovations (interior experience a plus)
Existing relationships within the Florida multifamily market preferred
Highly self-motivated with a strong ownership mentality
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
