Senior Manager, Digital Product Strategy

Schwab Advisor Services is expanding its Wealth Services team to build the next generation of digital wealth management platforms for independent financial advisors (RIAs). This team will shape how advisors access and integrate tools across areas such as estate planning, alternative investments, and specialized offerings for distinct client segments. As Senior Manager, Digital Product Strategy, you will define the digital strategy and requirements for new wealth management offerings, partnering across business, technology, operations, and third-party fintech providers. You will help shape how advisors experience and adopt Schwab's platform by turning strategy into scalable, advisor-ready solutions. This role is part of a newly formed, highly visible team and regularly engages senior leadership. The role does not directly manage engineers or act as a Scrum Product Owner, but instead focuses on strategic definition, cross-team alignment, and delivery oversight. Key Outcomes and Responsibilities

Research internal and third-party solutions to determine opportunities to create value for the Advisor and Schwab Formulate the product thesis and business case Lead discovery and research with advisors to validate business case and inform prioritization Define digital product strategy, requirements, and roadmap for wealth management offerings Partner with cross-functional teams to support product design, internal questions, launch readiness, and adoption Communicate and educate stakeholders through thoughtful presentations We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location. Ability to design and evolve digital products by translating research, trends, and business objectives into actionable product requirements Experience shaping product vision and direction without directly owning day-to-day engineering execution Proven ability to partner across business, technology, operations, service, and external vendors Strong project leadership, including planning work, managing contributors, and meeting milestones Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive-ready presentations Comfort facilitating discussions with senior leaders and cross-functional partners Financial services industry experience with curiosity to deepen knowledge of the RIA ecosystem Preferred Capabilities

Experience supporting advisor-facing platforms or the RIA industry Background working with fintech or third-party technology partners Experience supporting product launches or go-to-market efforts Experience in strategy consulting who understands technical product development In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
