Company Description Pacific Sands is a building design and engineering firm with offices in LA and in San Diego. We specialize in home design and construction documents for Residential Homes and Commercial structures in Southern California. We are actively working with dozens of fire victims to design new home plans, but we also do plans for ADUs, Additions, Remodels, New Construction, Property Splits, and structural engineering.
Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Architect, Designer, or Drafter at our San Diego office (located on Coronado). We have a team of ~12 designers and architects, and ~5 structural engineers that you'll get to work with on projects big and small spanning all of southern California.
Qualifications
2+ Years of professional experience as an architectural drafter or designer
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD.
Architectural Drawings, Construction Documents
Experience in Zoning and Planning regulations
Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation $50-70K+ annually
