Were seeking a
Senior CAD Designer
to join our engineering and design team, playing a critical role in the
3D design and development of automotive headlamp systems . This position is ideal for an expert Creo / ProE user with deep experience in
automotive lighting , plastic injection-molded components, and Class A surfacing. The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of
technical excellence, manufacturability knowledge, and aesthetic awareness , ensuring designs meet performance, regulatory, and production requirements. What Youll Do Lead
3D CAD design and development
of complex automotive headlamp systems from concept through production release Create robust, manufacturable designs using
Creo / ProE , with emphasis on
plastic injection-molded components Translate
styling surfacing data
and engineering requirements into high-quality
3D models and 2D drawings Collaborate cross-functionally with
styling, optics, electrical, manufacturing, and quality
teams Develop and maintain highly organized CAD models, ensuring: Strong parametric associativity Adherence to company CAD standards Perform design reviews and proactively identify risks, proposing solutions to optimize: Cost Weight Performance Manufacturing feasibility (DFM/DFA) Build and manage complex assemblies, including: Interference & clearance analysis Tolerance stack-ups Generate detailed
2D drawings
with proper
GD&T, materials, and manufacturing notes Provide expert CAD guidance in cross-functional development meetings Utilize
NX
as needed for data exchange or specific project requirements What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (Relevant experience may substitute for a degree) 10+ years
of professional CAD design experience in the
automotive industry Advanced proficiency in
Creo / ProE Strong understanding of: Automotive exterior lighting regulations and aesthetics Experience with
Class A surfacing Working knowledge or exposure to
NX
