Product Business Analyst (Contract) - Financial Services

Overview A leading financial services organization is seeking a
Product Business Analyst
to support key initiatives within its Banking Operations team. This role will focus on gathering business requirements, supporting Agile delivery, and identifying opportunities to improve processes across business execution functions.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in business execution initiatives, supporting low to moderately complex projects
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder collaboration
Facilitate discovery sessions and lead discussions to uncover business needs
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories for development teams
Partner with cross-functional teams to support Agile/Scrum delivery
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions
Conduct research and analysis to evaluate options and support decision-making
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum preferred)
Strong ability to gather and document requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both business and technical teams
Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgmentProficiency with tools such as Jira or similar work management platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in financial services or banking operations
Comfortable facilitating meetings and driving stakeholder conversations
Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and documentation
Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and initiative
