School of Architecture and Planning is looking for students to join our team as
SA+P Ambassadors —a dynamic role that blends creativity, leadership, and real-world professional experience. If you enjoy connecting with people, being creative, and making a difference in your school community, we’d love to have you on the team! We are hiring for both Summer and Fall.
Best consideration date for summer, May 3. Best consideration date for Fall, June 30.
What You’ll Do
As an SA+P Ambassador, you’ll work closely with the Advisement Office to support recruitment, retention, and daily operations. Your work will directly impact prospective and current students alike.
In this role, you will:
Represent SA+P at recruitment events (both on-campus and in-house)
Lead tours of George Pearl Hall for prospective students and visitors
Help plan and support events that welcome and retain current students
Assist with New Student Orientation
Design and develop materials related to recruitment, advisement and retention
Support outreach efforts including calling campaigns and student communications
Provide front desk support (answering phones, sorting mail, managing email)
Help maintain and organize the recruitment and events calendar
Schedule & Commitment
Approximately
10 hours per week
(up to 20 hours during peak times)
Office hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional
evening or Saturday events
Preferred Qualifications
Current student in the School of Architecture + Planning
In good academic standing (Satisfactory Academic Progress)
Familiarity with academic advisement
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Experience with
Adobe Creative Suite
(especially Photoshop and Illustrator)
Demonstrated passion for the SA+P majors and an interest in recruiting new students and helping to support and retain current students
