Island Country Club, established in 1966, is a prestigious private country club on Marco Island, Florida, featuring a newly renovated golf course designed by architect Kipp Schulties. The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent will work closely with the Superintendent, Michael Slack, to oversee daily operations, plan long-term projects, and ensure the club's commitment to golfing excellence. Responsibilities include disease and insect scouting, crew management, irrigation scheduling, and collaboration with other departments. The ideal candidate will hold a 2-year or 4-year degree in turf management, have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, possess a valid driver's license and Florida pesticides license, and demonstrate a passion for the industry. This individual must be a team player, proactive, and exhibit a positive attitude. Qualifications
