The Property Coordinator (PC) will be assigned to EPA-sponsored residential property environmental remediation efforts performed by CAPE at various locations in Kansas and Missouri. The Project Coordinator shall serve as the primary communication liaison between residents, field teams, EPA, and project management. The position will require direct interface with property homeowners for scheduling and general communications pertaining to planned remediation services on their respective properties.
The PC must engage proactively, communicate with property owners in a positive and attentive manner at all times. The PC must have detailed note-taking capabilities and a thorough documentation skill-set to include photos and videos.
Salary:
$60-70k annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Travel:
Position will require travel to project sites for extended durations.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary communication liaison between residents, field teams, EPA, and project management.
Direct interface with property homeowners for scheduling and communications related to planned remediation services.
Proactively engage with property owners, maintaining positive and attentive communication at all times.
Maintain detailed notes and thorough documentation, including photos and videos.
Coordinate property owner meetings, remediation activities, and property completion meetings as part of project coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
Proficient computer skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Core Interpersonal Skills
Strong communication (verbal & written) – explaining processes clearly, managing expectations, and handling concerns.
Customer service orientation – empathetic, patient, and responsive to homeowner needs.
Conflict resolution – handling complaints, delays, or sensitive situations calmly.
Relationship building – creating trust with the EPA, homeowners, and subcontractors.
Organizational & Coordination Skills
Project coordination – scheduling property owner meetings, remediations, and property completion meetings.
Time management – balancing multiple properties and deadlines.
Attention to detail – tracking documentation and compliance requirements.
Multitasking – managing multiple property remediation events simultaneously without losing accuracy.
