
Integrated Communications Specialist

Key Responsibilities
PR & Media Relations
Develop and pitch timely, compelling story angles, expert commentary, and research findings to targeted media and industry outlets
Draft and edit press materials (press releases, pitches, FAQs) and manage review/approval workflows
Support spokesperson readiness by building briefing documents, key messages, and Q&A; coordinate interviews and speaking opportunities
Partner with internal teams to support rapid response and issues management, escalating risk and aligning on messaging as needed
Build and maintain relationships with key reporters/editors (top-tier and trade), manage proactive outreach and reactive inquiries, and support briefings/embargoes when needed
Maintain media lists and tracking documents (outreach log, briefing tracker, coverage/links), and help compile weekly/monthly updates for stakeholders
Support PR-led events (conferences, roundtables, webinars) through coordination: timelines, speaker logistics, run-of-show, and on-site/virtual communications needs
Social Media & Community Engagement
Support the employee advocacy program by curating ready-to-share content, coordinating launches, and enabling employees to amplify campaigns authentically
Manage day-to-day community engagement across social channels: moderate and respond in the brand voice, elevate sensitive issues, and surface audience insights to the team
Coordinate social event promotion and post-event follow-up in partnership with marketing teams
Coordinate social publishing calendars with PR and content plans; track performance and recommend optimizations based on engagement and audience growth
Operations Support
Support communications operations, including budget tracking, vendor coordination, purchase orders/invoicing support, and status reporting for ongoing initiatives
Monitor and analyze coverage and share of voice via Talkwalker; synthesize insights into regular reporting on media mentions, sentiment, and campaign performance
Own the corporate blog program: maintain the editorial calendar, coordinate stakeholders and approvals, copyedit for clarity and consistency, and publish posts on schedule
Qualifications Required Qualifications
3-5 years of PR and communications experience, preferably in B2B technology
Strong media relations fundamentals, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with reporters/editors in priority verticals; existing relationships are a plus. Track record of supporting earned coverage.
Familiarity with AI and building AI workflows
Excellent writing and editing skills across formats (pitches, press releases, blog posts, briefing docs), with strong attention to tone and accuracy
Experience managing social channels and community engagement, including basic performance reporting and optimization
Comfortable with PR measurement and monitoring tools (e.g., Talkwalker) and turning data into clear takeaways for stakeholders
Strong project management and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, operate well under ambiguity, and proactively drive work forward
Experience supporting awards submissions and/or external events (e.g., conferences, webinars, roundtables), including timeline and stakeholder coordination

The wage range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors in determining your pay. We'll consider your location, experience, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The wage disclosure has not been adjusted for applicable geographic differentials associated with the location at which this position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current base wage range for this role is $90,000 - $153,000. In addition to the base compensation, certain roles are eligible for additional compensation, including an annual bonus or sales incentive based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role. These awards are allocated based on individual performance.
