Pay Grade 19

Pay Range $84,750 - $93,225

About Us The Child Care Alliance of Los Angeles (CCALA) is a partnership of ten Resource and Referral and Alternative Payment agencies in Los Angeles County. Together, our agencies deliver services to thousands of families and child care providers.

Services include training and one-on-one coaching for child care providers to improve the work they do with children; assisting parents in finding and identifying quality child care; and providing information to parents and child care providers on topics such as child development and child care best practices. Through our member agencies, CCALA has the ability to reach providers, families and children at a grass‑roots level in multiple languages and a strong understanding of their area’s unique communities.

CCALA is the glue that brings together our ten member agencies around:

Best practices and standardized methods in child care voucher programs

Advocacy on behalf of working parents and their children and early childhood educators, as well as for improvements to government systems and programs.

Collaboration and coordination of county‑wide services to families and providers in the areas of improving child care quality and well‑being of the child.

Valued leadership as champions for equity and inclusion, and impactful, high‑quality programs and services.

About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our Executive Director and Leadership Team. This is a high‑impact role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment and enjoys being a trusted partner to senior leadership.

What You'll Do

Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and executive priorities

Coordinate travel, meetings, and board logistics

Serve as a key liaison between leadership, stakeholders, and partners

Draft and prepare professional communications, reports, and presentations

Track priorities, deadlines, and strategic initiatives

Support special projects and improve operational processes

Handle sensitive information with a high level of discretion

What We're Looking For

3+ years of executive or high‑level administrative support experience

Experience supporting senior or C‑level leaders preferred

Exceptional organization, communication, and time management skills

Strong judgement, professionalism, and confidentiality

Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast‑paced environment

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
