Job Overview TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented and energetic Social Media Producer & Content Creator with strong interpersonal and collaboration/teamwork skills to join our News Café department. The successful candidate will be responsible for television, digital and social media support, time‑management in a fast‑paced environment, and a solution‑oriented problem‑solving approach.
Responsibilities
Oversee show’s Facebook and Instagram pages
Increase social media followers on Instagram & Facebook
Create and edit digital images using Adobe Photoshop
Develop and oversee social media strategy, content, and calendar (daily/weekly)
Respond to inbound social media traffic
Generate monthly statistical reports with social analytics and trends to track growth
Report on online reviews and feedback
Prepare FCC report on a weekly basis
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in television production, including proven video editing and motion graphics skills and proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer
Portfolio showcasing editing and motion graphics skills, and knowledge of production equipment (cameras, lighting, audio)
Experience operating portable cameras to record or broadcast live programs from event locations
Knowledge of Apple, Windows and Microsoft Office
Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphics software
Bilingual preferred
Energetic self‑starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and collaboration skills
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Experience multitasking in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds in equipment
Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy equipment (with or without accommodation)
Ability to work at our office in Miami, FL
