
Architectural Designer - Residential Projects

Responsibilities
Draft, design, and produce construction documents for production residential communities, including single‑family and attached housing
Work closely with Project Managers and senior designers to maintain builder standards, plan consistency, and jurisdictional compliance within the Boise market
Support ongoing updates to plan sets, including options, elevations, and lot‑specific adjustments
Apply redlines and maintain accuracy across multiple plan iterations in Revit
Assist in adapting standard plans to meet local codes, site conditions, and builder requirements
Contribute to efficient, repeatable documentation processes that support high‑volume production
Requirements
Typically 1+ years of drafting/designing experience, preferably in residential or production homebuilding
Proficiency in Revit is required
Familiarity with construction documents for wood‑framed residential projects
Understanding of production housing workflows (plan reuse, options, and variations)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple plan updates simultaneously
Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow within a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment
Benefits
Base salary target of $70,000 to $85,000, determined by education, experience, and history in the Boise metro area
