Overview
We\'re looking for an experienced
Director of Finance
who will direct Accessible Space, Inc.\'s (ASI) financial operations including the management of Finance staff, preparation & administration of budgets, and strategic planning. Responsibilities
Ensure the
production and dissemination
of timely and accurate financial reporting Oversee
annual independent financial audit and IRS 990 reports Ensure
compliance
with federal, state, and local government financial reporting requirements Oversee cash management.
Prepare and submit
reports to ASI\'s bank. Prepare ASI
annual budget .
Present financial reports
to ASI\'s President/CEO, and ASI\'s Board of Directors. Procure adequate and appropriate liability insurance
of all types for ASI programs, sites and affiliates. Track and monitor
expenditures of ASI\'s site developments Hire, train, and supervise
the Accounting Managers and
provide direction
and guidance into hiring decisions for all Finance Department staff. Director of Finance Qualifications
Four-year degree
or equivalent combination of education and relevant nonprofit experience. A minimum of
five years administrative experience
working with a major nonprofit. Demonstrated ability to
manage and direct staff Specific knowledge of
Minnesota\'s Medical Assistance Program
as it related to assisted living services and the
S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
Section 811/Section 202
