Position: Communications Manager
Location: Stow, Massachusetts, Masters Academy International
Start Date: May 1, 2026
Masters Academy International (MAI) is New England’s only school that intentionally integrates pro‑level coaching and top‑tier academics to prepare future leaders, excelling in sport, scholarship, and life. At MAI, athletics are not an extracurricular add‑on; they are a core pillar of student identity and future opportunity.
Our student athletes pursue ambitious goals and train with purpose. The athletic program at MAI is designed to develop exceptional competitors while also cultivating the character, habits, and mindset required for long‑term success. We believe in doing things the right way: with excellence, integrity, and care for the whole student.
About the Role MAI is seeking a Communications Manager to lead and execute a strategic, school‑wide communications program that strengthens relationships with families, supports internal alignment, and elevates the MAI brand. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. The Communications Manager will serve as a trusted partner to school leadership, shaping how information is shared across the community while ensuring that all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with MAI’s voice and values. The role requires a thoughtful communicator who can both craft compelling messaging and design systems that ensure communication across the school is effective, timely, and coherent. This individual will play a critical role in enhancing the experience of families and staff, supporting enrollment and retention, and guiding the school through both everyday communications and high‑stakes situations.
What You Will Do Masters Academy International (MAI) is seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to lead our school’s narrative and strengthen our vibrant community. In this pivotal leadership role, you will design and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with MAI’s mission, serving as a key advisor to the School Leadership Team while ensuring clarity and consistency across all divisions. You will be the primary architect of our family and community engagement, building trust through high‑quality touchpoints and compelling storytelling that highlights our student achievements and academic excellence. Beyond managing school‑wide execution—from newsletters and crisis protocols to internal staff support and website maintenance—you will partner with marketing and admissions to drive enrollment and maintain a cohesive brand voice. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for streamlining complex workflows and a talent for crafting messages that resonate, we invite you to help shape the future of the MAI experience.
