We're looking for a hands-on, hungry
Fractional Brand Manager
to execute marketing initiatives that push the brand forward.
ROLE OVERVIEW The Fractional Brand Manager will own execution of brand activations, community events, email marketing, rewards management, and partnerships across TALEA's NYC taprooms and digital channels. This is a
20-25 hours per week contract role
for someone who moves fast, tests ideas, and takes full ownership of getting things done.
The right candidate thrives on experimentation and is obsessed with finding what resonates with our community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute brand activations and community events (1-2 per month)
Own email marketing calendar and execution (minimum 3 emails/month to NYC base)
Manage rewards program communications and customer engagement
Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, product launches, and taproom programming
Identify and activate partnership opportunities that align with brand values
Test marketing initiatives quickly, measure results, and iterate
Coordinate with taproom managers on event logistics and in-store activations
Track performance and provide regular updates on campaign results
QUALIFICATIONS
2-3 years of experience in brand marketing, events, or hospitality marketing
Experience with email marketing platforms and customer engagement tools
Located in NYC or willing to be onsite for events and activations
Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously
Self-starter comfortable working independently with limited oversight
Passion for craft beer, hospitality, and building community
Scrappy mindset: you're resourceful and can make things happen without big budgets
Bonus: Experience in F&B, craft beverage, or experiential marketing
WHAT WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR
A strategist who needs months to develop the perfect plan
Someone who requires constant direction or hand-holding
A CMO-level role: this is about execution
COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE This is a
fractional contract position
(1099), 20-25 hours per week at $30-35/hour depending on experience.
This is a
project-based engagement
with clear performance expectations. We move quickly and will know within 90 days if it's the right fit for both sides to continue partnering.
