Graphic Designer – Email & Digital Marketing
Location: Sewell, NJ (Hybrid). Job Type: Contract. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Experience Level: Entry Level.
Responsibilities
Design and edit graphics for email marketing and other digital marketing materials.
Build responsive email templates using HTML/CSS constraints, ensuring cross‑device and cross‑client compatibility.
Use Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create photo edits, vector graphics, and layout designs.
Maintain brand consistency across print and digital formats.
Collaborate with team members, interpret briefs, and iterate designs based on feedback.
Manage digital assets, file naming conventions, and meet project deadlines.
Requirements
BFA or 2 years of experience in graphic design.
5-10 portfolio pieces.
Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop photo editing and retouching.
Ability to create and edit vector graphics in Illustrator.
Familiarity with InDesign for page layout and multi‑page documents.
Knowledge of email platforms such as Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar.
Experience designing responsive emails, understanding HTML/CSS constraints.
Demonstrated ability to balance creativity with performance using data/testing insights (A/B testing, engagement metrics).
Understanding of core design principles: typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color theory.
Knowledge of branding consistency and maintaining visual standards across projects.
Strong communication skills for explaining design choices and receiving feedback.
Comfortable collaborating with team members.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency.
Soft skills: can work in team environment, scrappy, takes lead, fast‑paced, communicates with internal customers.
