
International Tax Analyst

About the Role
The Analyst, International Tax, will support international income tax planning and reporting activities for the Company's United States and Korea operations. This role will assist with compliance, provision calculations, and tax research, while working closely with senior members of the tax team and cross‑functional partners.
What You Will Do
Assist in the preparation of the U.S. international income tax provision, including supporting calculations related to GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Section 987 and foreign tax credits
Support the preparation of the international components of the U.S. Federal tax return, including Forms 5471, 8858, and 1118, E&P calculations, and foreign tax credit computations
Perform data gathering, validation, and analysis to support international tax reporting and compliance processes
Conduct research on U.S. international tax issues and document conclusions under the supervision of senior team members
Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of international tax processes
Support coordination with foreign affiliates and headquarters (including Korean reporting requirements and CFC‑related matters)
Assist with IRS audit support by gathering documentation and preparing requested analyses
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Finance, Legal, Treasury, IT) to support tax‑related data needs and inquiries
Work with external advisors on compliance and special projects, as directed
Prepare supporting schedules, memos, and documentation for internal and external reporting
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
2‑5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax
Foundational knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts, including:
GILTI, FDII, and Subpart F
Foreign tax credits and 861 allocations
Earnings & Profits (E&P) concepts
Exposure to international tax compliance and/or provision processes
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Bonus Points if You Have
Progress toward or completion of MST, CPA, or JD
Experience with tax provision or compliance software (e.g., EY ITS, OneStream, or similar tools)
Strong Excel and data analysis skills (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBi, or similar tools)
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and proactively communicate to manager
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Detail‑oriented with a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
Exposure to AI‑driven tools and a demonstrated interest in applying them
