The Senior Manager, Brand Strategy & Operations serves as THE commercial leader within the Marketing team and is the right hand of the Senior Marketing Director. This role is responsible for leading the
brand fundamentals and operating backbone
that enable sustainable growth. This role owns assortment strategy, lifecycle management recommendation & alignment, pricing recommendations, business & Competitive intelligence, International Marketing (Canada/Mexico/UK) budget management and brand operations, ensuring the portfolio is optimized, commercially sound, and execution ready.
Partnering closely with the Senior Marketing Director, this role translates brand strategy into
clear plans, disciplined investment, and operational excellence , while serving as a key connector across Sales, Category Management, Finance, and international markets, and integrated marketing teams.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE YOUR MARK: (key responsibilities) Brand Fundamentals & Portfolio Leadership 25%
Lead
assortment strategy
across base business and innovation to drive clarity, productivity, and growth and
lifecycle management (LCM)
alignment and recommendation including line extensions, innovation, discontinuations.
Lead
assortment strategy & new item recommendations
for international markets (Canada, Mexico, UK)
Ensure strong
base business maintenance , keeping products, claims, pricing, and selling tools accurate and competitive.
Lead
base business maintenance projects & refresh opportunities
across collections
Develop
pricing strategy recommendations
in partnership with Finance, Sales, CMI, and Category Management.
Business Intelligence & Performance Management 20%
Lead
brand business intelligence , tracking performance and opportunities across channels and markets.
Lead ongoing competitive analysis staying up to date on key promos/trends/innovation news. Partner closely with CMI/Harvest MSI on deep dive analyses and business health/POS tracking.
Translate data into actionable insights and recommendations for brand leadership and integrated marketing plan adjustments.
Support Senior Marketing Director for
brand and product education strategy , ensuring consistent, compelling education internally and externally and
collaboration strategy , supporting evaluation and operational execution of brand collaborations.
International Marketing and Brand Leader 25%
Act as the
key brand contact and orchestrator
for
Canada, Mexico, and the UK , ensuring global alignment and market readiness.
Ensure brand strategies are commercially grounded and execution ready.
Marketing Budget Ownership 10%
Own and manage the
brand marketing budget , ensuring disciplined investment aligned to strategic priorities.
Partner with the Senior Marketing Director and Finance on forecasting, tracking, and optimization of spend.
People Leadership & Operating Excellence 15%
Lead and develop direct reports, establishing clear priorities, ways of working, and operating rhythms.
Drive operational rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement across brand strategy and operations.
Serve as brand partner to the
Sales MS&P Director
and
Category Management Director , ensuring alignment on assortment, pricing, and commercialization, supporting Senior Marketing Director.
REQUIRED SUPERPOWERS: (required skills and abilities)
Proven experience owning
assortment strategy, pricing, lifecycle management, and base business performance .
Strong analytical and business acumen with the ability to translate data into action.
Experience partnering closely with Sales, Category Management, Finance, and international markets.
Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable operating in complexity.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong general management skills & expertise partnering with commercial teams and translating business objectives to retailer needs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
7–10+ years of experience in Brand Strategy, Brand Management, or Commercial Marketing (CPG and/or Beauty preferred).
1-3 years of management or supervisory experience

This is an office-based role with no physical requirements.
We are in office Monday-Thursday and remote on Friday
