
Sr. Sales Leader - Growth Driver (Relocation Assistance Available)

The Sr. Sales Leader – Growth Driver is a Water treatment sales position focused on growing business and driving ChemTreat’s market position within a geography or an industry. The role leads the creation, improvement, and implementation of innovative sales strategies, increasing market share and profitability.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Familiarity with chemical water treatment systems and applications.
Provide analysis of markets, trends, competition, portfolios, technologies, and revenues.
Increase sales and profits by meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
Retain existing customer base by fostering the ChemTreat value certification and earning return on investment, while actively generating new accounts.
Develop key relationships with customers through identifying and engaging key decision makers, prospecting, cold calling, frequent follow‑up, strategic questioning, and root‑cause analysis of customers’ needs.
Supplemental Responsibilities
Prospect and cold‑call new customers.
Create and present effective proposals to prospective customers.
Communicate the ChemTreat value proposition to prospects.
Assist transition of new business to the account management team when applicable.
Entertain customers and prospects in accordance with ChemTreat’s entertainment policy.
Other duties as assigned.

Self‑motivated with a strategic mindset.
Ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent.
Industry knowledge specific to water treatment.
Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical degree, or equivalent, plus 7+ years of relevant experience.
7+ years of successful water treatment related experience.
Physical Demands
Travel dependent on the size of the assigned territory.
May require long hours and varied work schedules.
Continuous sitting, walking, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and use of hands and fingers for operating equipment and keyboards.
Routinely reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 60 lbs and sometimes maneuver drums weighing 250–800 lbs.
Occasional stair and ladder climbing, high‑elevation work, and driving both short and long distances within DOT regulations.
Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Working Conditions & Environment
Required to wear PPE for deliveries: eye, hearing, and respiratory protection, protective apron, steel‑toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields.
Occasional extreme heat and high noise levels.
May be employed at boiler houses, cooling towers, water plants, wastewater plants, or other process areas.
Routine use of hazardous chemicals.
Collaborative environment, interacting across all levels of customer organizations.
