Overview Inside the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team you will work closely with public and private corporate clients, private equity firms and other entities with large VC shareholdings. The candidate will help drive and build‑out our platform's growth while participating in the entire transaction process from pitching and origination through deal execution. The role will involve interaction with several other groups throughout the bank including DCM syndicate, research, coverage, sponsors, sales & trading, Lev Fin and M&A as the team offers a full range of products to its client base.

What You'll Do
Assist with the structuring and execution of acquisition and bank loan financing
Analyze business models and oversee financial analysis and modelling
Take an active and productive role in pitches and live projects by developing an understanding of mergers & acquisitions, financing strategies, the investment grade loan market, and our clients' businesses
Support the preparation of detailed memoranda and presentations describing the key attributes of financing transactions
Participate in various marketing and recruiting activities of the Firm

Significant network and experience within the arena with extensive, in-depth product and market knowledge
Proven track record of independently and proactively servicing multiple clients and effectively managing multiple priorities, while generating significant revenue
Strong commercial acumen: understanding client/market problems, proactively tackling challenges, and seizing opportunities as they arise
Proven ability to coach and encourage a diverse team of talented individuals to achieve outstanding results

Strong quantitative skills, and writing skills
A strategic thinker with the ability to understand broad business issues, their potential implications and to make sound business recommendations

Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office at least 4 days a week.
The salary range for this position in New York City is $150K to $275K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
