Interior Designer
Garmann Miller is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our Columbus, Ohio area team. This role is ideal for a professional with 3–7 years in interior design or interior architecture. Duties / Responsibilities
Excellent communication and technical skills Coordinating/communicating project needs with the design team, which includes architects, engineers and marketing professionals Generate and develop dynamic design ideas mainly for K-12 education learning environments Planning, materiality detailing and furnishings Manage project expectations from concept design through construction administration Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and craftspeople. Work in all aspects of design, including construction documentation, samples management, budgeting and estimating. Collaborate with other team members to find design solutions that provide the best value to the client Experience / Certification Required
3-7 years in Interior Design or Interior Architecture Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited program Possess a strong desire to learn or build upon an existing career in K-12 education design Technical skills in AutoCAD and Revit Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite Previous commercial or education design experience (preferred) Complete benefits package and pay commensurate with experience.
