
Sales Customer Service Representative - Farmington Hills, MI

Key Responsibilities Job Duties:
Serve in customer service capacity to all internal and external sales and ordering inquiries
Receive inbound customer sales orders and add them to the sales database
Review schedule and correspond with plant team to confirm operational availability
Process daily and weekly customer invoices.
Process invoice corrections for external and internal customers.
Verify purchases and enter vendor data.
Must be able to manage a high volume of inbound calls
Work with sales, customers, and operations to resolve customer invoice issues.
Work with sales team and customers to create customer quotes and orders.
Coordinate the sales support activity between sales, billing, and scale clerks.
Set up new customers and maintain existing customer data.
Provides customer with appropriate product and project documentation.
Work with field operations team to improve customer service.
Special projects as assigned including growing support in report writing functionality.
Other Requirements:
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
Ability to remotely work from home when required.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
Must be willing to work rotational Saturdays when necessary.
Overtime may be required during peak season.
Skills/Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
Education and Experience Education or equal experience in database reporting with SQL helpful. Microsoft Office and/or accounting software experience preferred.
